Shake‑up in Top 10 PV Module Shipment Rankings
With the release of half‑year 2026 financial reports, major PV manufacturers have updated their operating results. Among leading module producers, the top‑10 shipment rankings have witnessed another reshuffle amid the balance‑seeking between production scale and profit margins.
Ranking Reshuffle
Looking at the top‑4 players, the biggest shift in the first half of this year is the change of industry leader: LONGi Green Energy has reclaimed the No.1 spot with module shipments of 29.93 GW. JinkoSolar, which had held the top position for three consecutive years, ranks second by a narrow margin of only 0.29 GW.
Trina Solar and JA Solar retain the 3rd and 4th positions respectively. Trina Solar’s module shipments exceeded 25 GW, while JA Solar recorded combined cell and module shipments of 22.25 GW.
Despite the revised rankings, the “Big‑Four” group — LONGi Green Energy, JinkoSolar, Trina Solar and JA Solar — remains firmly entrenched. This stable competitive landscape has been maintained since 2018.
